What is ATDC and how is it recognized?
The Apparel Training & Design Centre (ATDC) was registered in 1991 under the aegis of the Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC), Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India. It is India's largest vocational training network with 90+ centres across 22 states. Its B.Voc degree programs are offered in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), an Institute of National Importance.
What is the eligibility for B.Voc Degrees and Diplomas?
For both B.Voc Degrees (Fashion Design & Retail, Apparel Manufacturing & Entrepreneurship) and 1-Year Diplomas (FDT, AMT, SAMT), candidates must have passed 10+2 from any recognized central or state board in any stream (Science, Commerce, Arts).
How are ATDC's course fees structured?
ATDC offers heavily subsidized, industry-aligned tuition fees compared to private design colleges. The B.Voc Degree fee is ₹44,250 per semester (payable in 6 installments across 3 years). The 1-Year Diploma programs (FDT / AMT) are ₹95,000 payable in 2 installments.
