Key Responsibilities • Design and develop new Indian Ethnic Wear collections as per current market trends. • Create innovative and commercially viable design concepts, sketches and mood boards. • Research the latest fashion trends, colours, fabrics, prints, embroidery and silhouettes. • Develop designs for Suits. • Coordinate with the Merchandising, Sampling, Production and Purchase teams for product development. • Work on fabric, colour, embroidery, prints and embellishment selection. • Prepare detailed design sheets and provide clear instructions for sample development. • Review samples and suggest modifications to achieve the desired look and quality. • Develop collections according to customer requirements, price points and market demand. • Monitor competitor collections and identify new design opportunities. • Ensure designs are both creative and commercially suitable for the Indian market.
