Fashion Show conducted by ATDC Kannur - Happiness Festival 2023.

HAPPINESS FESTIVAL is a week-long New year celebration that has been conducted by the Municipality of Taliparamba, Kannur in a very grand manner for the last two years. ATDC Kannur was fortunate enough to get a chance to present a fashion show in 2022 which was well received, subsequently we became a part of all activities conducted by the committee thereafter including career expos and other promotional events.
The committee approached us for presenting a Fashion show for the second season as well, and ATDC KANNUR presented a collection of 19 garments on the 28th of December, 2023 for HAPPINESS FESTIVAL 2023. We had about 3000 viewers as audience, the show was well received and was lauded by the committee.
The collection was made using traditional Kerala kasavu fabric blended with brocades of peacock hues, giving a fresh twist to the conventional designs.
The show was conducted by Batch 8- B.Voc FDR Sem 1 students( REC and Direct). Since the students are very new to PMGC, helping them to construct the garments on time was a herculean task. I would like to mention the efforts taken by my faculties Mr. MAHESH and Ms. GEETHU KV , for guiding and mentoring the students effectively for the show to happen successfully. The hard work taken by both the faculties deserves to be applauded.
