ATDC Launches AI-Enabled Job Portal to Digitise Student Placements and Strengthen
Employment Opportunities
Gurugram, 25 June 2026: The Apparel Training & Design Centre (ATDC) today successfully
launched its AI-enabled Job Portal, a major digital initiative that will transform and digitise the
institution’s manual placement process into a seamless, technology-driven recruitment
ecosystem. The portal has been developed through the collaborative efforts of ATDC’s National
Placement Department and IT & Digital Transformation Team, under the visionary guidance of
Chairman, ATDC and the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Roopak Vasishtha, Director General & CEO,
ATDC.
The launch was held during a Career Guidance, Motivational and AI Awareness Workshop
organised for B.Voc and AVI students. The workshop focused on preparing students for
upcoming placement opportunities through expert sessions on career planning, interview
preparation, resume building, workplace readiness, communication skills, industry expectations
and the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in future careers. Students also interacted with
industry experts and HR professionals to gain practical insights into employment trends and
recruitment expectations.
The AI-enabled platform enables students to create digital profiles, search and apply for jobs,
while allowing employers to access a nationwide talent pool of ATDC-trained candidates.
Developed entirely in-house, the portal represents a cost-effective, scalable digital solution and
marks another significant milestone in ATDC’s digital transformation journey.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Roopak Vasishtha, Director General & CEO, ATDC,
emphasized that ATDC is taking a full leap towards digital transformation by integrating Artificial
Intelligence across its academic, administrative and student service ecosystem. He stated that
as per the vision of Dr A Sakthivel, Chairman AEPC and ATDC, various AI-led initiatives are
being introduced to make ATDC future-ready and to ensure that technology enhances learning,
placements, communication and operational excellence.
The launch of the AI-enabled Job Portal further reinforces ATDC’s commitment to bridging the
gap between skill development and employment through technology-led innovation. With its
