MoU signed between Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) and ATDC by Shri Umesh Chand Gupta, General Manager (HRD)   WCL and Dr Roopali Shukla , Director ATDC ,  in the presence of Dr. Hemant Sharad Pandey, Director (HRD), WCL. This is under the CSR initiative of WCL  to benefit 180 candidates  across Nagpur and Chhindwara.

ATDC Pro-Up launches programs on Sustainability for the Apparel Sector.

ATDC Pro-Up launches programs on Sustainability for the Apparel Sector. Dr. Vijay Mathur, Director General & CEO, ATDC, under his visionary direction ATDC is driving innovation in apparel training and industry engagement. Dr. Roopali Shukla, Director ATDC with her vast experience and research conducted the session. She explained sustainability is no longer a choice but a necessity and Skill is the new currency. The program was on “Sustainability for the Production Floor”. 23 industry participants from the leading apparel organization attended this session. Some of the organizations were: Pearl Global, Richa Global, Asmara, Orient Craft, Matrix Clothing, Afflatus and others. The presentation emphasized infrastructure upgrades, adoption on energy-efficient machinery, implementation of lean manufacturing systems, workforce development, and the importance of training and documentation. Real life scenarios and case-based discussions were used to drive home the relevance of sustainability. The masterclass concluded with a vibrant Q&A session and distribution of certificates. Marking successful beginning for the ATDC Pro-Up initiative. The program aims to bridge knowledge gaps and foster skill enhancement through industry-relevant short-term modules.
