Tool Kit Distribution Ceremony â 17th November 2025 | ATDC Sohagpur
We are delighted to share the success of the Tool Kit Distribution Ceremony held at ATDC Sohagpur under the SECLâCSR Skill Development initiative. ATDC began its partnership with South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) with the signing of an MoU on 12th February 2025 in the presence of Ms. Rupinder Brar, IRS, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Coal, Govt. of India. Under this collaboration, SECL has sanctioned training for 400 candidates. Currently, two batches (30 candidates each) are undergoing training at the rent-free built-up space provided by SECL at Sohagpur. On 17th November 2025, we were honoured to welcome a delegation from SECL: Shri N. Franklin Jaykumar, Director (Technical), SECL, Bilaspur Shri B.K. Jena, Area General Manager, SECL, Sohagpur Area Shri Manish Kumar Shrivastava, General Manager (Operations) Shri Gaurav Singhal, Manager (CSR), SECL, Sohagpur In their august presence, the Tool Kit Distribution Ceremony for SECL-sponsored SET candidates was successfully conducted. The dignitaries handed over tool kits to all trainees, interacted with them, and motivated them with encouraging words. They emphasized the importance of skill development and the vast opportunities in the Apparel Sector. The students expressed heartfelt gratitude to SECL and ATDC for enabling them to build a promising career. They shared their learning experiences, highlighting hands-on training on various industrial sewing machines and the ability to make garments like kurtas, blouses, shirts, trousers, palazzos, and more. ATDC Announces Open House Debate & Poster Competitions Pan India
The Apparel Training and Design Centre (ATDC), organized an Interschool Debate and Poster Competition during “Open House” in its Pan India centres, bringing together young and creative minds from various schools across the city. The event aimed to encourage students to express their ideas confidently, think critically, and showcase their artistic and communication skills. Some of Centres such as , Faridabad, Bhopal, Chhindwara have already conducted. ATDC conducted the Debate and Poster Making Competition at ATDC Chhindwara Centre on 7th November 2025. The event aimed to encourage students to enhance their creativity, communication skills, critical thinking, and creative expression. Winners of the Competition are: 1. Shivam Karade (Vidhya Niketan School) 1 st Prize- Poster Making 2. Mayuri Tilnate (Gyan Bharti Public School) â 2 nd Prize- Poster Making 3. Sakshi Baghel (Bala Ji Public School)- 3 rd Prize- Poster Making 4. Khushbu Chourasia (Sanskar Valley Public School) 1 st Prize- Debate 5. Vani Tandekar (KV-02)- 2 nd Prize- Debate 6. Dimple Parte (Bala Ji Public School)- 3 rd Prize- Debate A total of 65 students and 08 teachers attended the event. Out of them, 30 students participated in the Debate Competition and 35 students took part in the Poster Making Competition. The below mentioned The program began with a warm welcome to the jury members Mr. Ravindra Rajput (Industry Expert) and Ms. Parvati Chandel (Principal, Sanskar Valley Public School), who graciously agreed to evaluate the participantsâ performances. The students actively participated in both competitions, showcasing their confidence, creativity, and enthusiasm. The competition helped students develop public speaking, creative thinking, and teamwork skills. It also promoted healthy competition, confidence, and a deeper understanding of the apparel and design field through their visit to ATDC Chhindwara.
