ATDC Addressing Employability
National Placement Cell has been formed in the year 2010 by ATDC. The National Placement Cell at ATDC National Head Office plays a pivotal role between the industry and the student community through meaningful interaction to bring awareness to the faculty and the students and prepare them according to the changing demands of the industry.
Coverage
Being in the industry since 1991, ATDC has signed an MOU with AEPC, which has over 7500 registered manufacturers to create a strong linkage for the better placement of our candidates. National Placement Cell has signed placement agreements direct with the exporters also (like M/s Shahi Exports, M/s Pearl Global, etc.) to provide suitable placement opportunity to all ATDC Pan-India trained candidates.
Methodology
Pre-Placement
During their course of study, we start pre-placement planning (on geographical / interest basis) of the candidates with the help of Regional managers / Principals. We keep on organizing workshops, mock interviews, writing application from time to time to ensure they learn their skills both manually and practically.
We put all our efforts in organizing ‘Rozgar Mela’s’ / ‘Campus Placement Week’s’ / ‘Virtual Placement Drive’s’ for all ATDC Pan-India trained students where ATDC invite reputed industries from Pan-India (Export, Domestic, Retail, E- Commerce sector) to take our students in students in different area of their specialization.
Post-Placement
After the selection of the students, the concerned letters (Offer/Joining Letter) are sent to centres/students for their reference. ATDC connect with the candidates as well as the industry after the placement to gain feedback / tracking details of the candidates.
Beneficiary in Industry
ATDC trained skilled trainee beneficiaries for the entire Apparel Industry including big & small manufacturers, exporters, retailers, boutiques, tailors, etc. Many big manufacturers regularly engage ATDC students in their units. In the formal industry, ATDC students go from the shop floor to the Merchandisers level also as assistants.
